Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI), popular with the name Bangalore Medical College (BMC) was set up in 1955 under the Mysore Education Society by Dr. Shivram and Dr. Mohammed Shafi Mekhri. Originally part of the Mysore University and Bangalore University, the institute later became affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). BMCRI Bangalore Admission 2024

BMCRI Bangalore Admission for MBBS, MD/MS and DM/MCh is based on the cutoff rank obtained in NEET UG, NEET PG and NEET SS, respectively. For postgraduate courses, 50% of seats are allotted for the All India quota, and the remaining 50% are reserved for the State quota. Admission to the Post Basic BSc Nursing and Diploma program at BMCRI Bangalore is based on the merit list of the last qualifying examination. Students planning to be admitted to the MSc Nursing and Fellowship must clear an examination organised by the Karnataka Examination Authority, Banglore (KEA).

To apply for admission at BMCRI Bangalore, submit forms with a demand draft of INR 550 for candidates who passed 12th in Karnataka and INR 650 for students who passed 12th outside Karnataka. Appear for the state-level medical entrance exam or the all-India entrance exam. For the counseling, appear with a copy of the result from the entrance examination. A seat allotment letter from the Director General of Health Services or Rajiv Gandhi University for Health Sciences is required for postgraduate admission. Postgraduate students need also to submit a bond of INR 100. Internship completion certification and medical registration certificate should be presented at the time of admission.
