Department of health and family welfare will conduct NEET 2022 admission for 3421 MBBS and 508 BDS seats. Candidates who qualify for NEET will be eligible to take admission here.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Students who want to take MBBS admission in West Bengal must adhere to the eligibility criteria.
Indian nationals are eligible to apply for West Bengal MBBS 2022. Students who are from outside of WB can apply for the management quota seats in Private medical colleges. NRI candidates can apply for NRI quota seats.
The candidates must be a domicile of the state. Students have to submit a domicile certificate.
Students must be 17 years on the year of admission
Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects in class 12. For West Bengal NEET admission students must score a minimum of 50% marks (UR category) in class 12 examinations. A relaxation of 5% and 10% will be available for UR/EWS -PH and SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates, respectively.
Students must have the NEET cut-off score. Without NEET, students will not be considered eligible for medical admission.
HOW TO APPLY FOR WEST BENGAL MBBS ADMISSION
Registration: candidates will have to visit the official website of MCC. register using your roll number, application number, and DOB. Students also have to enter their contact details and complete the registration.
Form filling: After entering the details, candidates will have to enter the category and domicile details.
Fee payment: After submitting the form, students have to pay the application fee. Students can pay the fee online using credit, debit cards or net banking. Candidates are requested to take a printout of the transaction slip. For unreserved and OBC categories the application fee will be 2000 Rs. For SC/ST candidates the fee will be 1500 Rs.
Acknowledgment slip: after paying the application fee, they need to have an acknowledgment slip. The acknowledgment slip will mention the candidate’s personal details, NEET details, and domicile status.

WEST BENGAL MBBS/BDS ELIGIBILITY 2022
Candidates who fulfil the criteria below can take admission to the MBBS or BDS course in West Bengal.
- Candidate belonging to the Indian national and OCI can also apply.
- The minimum age should be 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission
