Jamnalal bajaj institute of management (JBIMS) is one of the oldest B-schools in India with a legacy of over 52 years. JBIMS was established in 1965 by the University of Mumbai. JBIMS has been consistently ranked among the top 10 premier B-Schools in India. JBIMS was ranked 10th by Outlook ICARE Ranking 2024 among the public B-Schools in India. JBIMS was the first institute in India to provide a full-time 2-year Master in Management Studies (MMS). JBIMS Seat Intake 2024
- JBIMS offers around 150 – 160 seats and among them majority of the seats are reserved for the Maharastra candidates.
- The CAP intake for JBIMS is 120 for the Maharastra state candidates and there are 18 All-India seats.

JBIMS Admission 2025
The admission into the JBIMS MMS program is based on the entrance exam like MAH-MBA CET/ CMAT/ CAT and the selection is done through a Common Admission Process (CAP).
- Entrance Examination: JBIMS accepts MAH-CET exams for Maharashtra candidates and the majority of the seats are alloted through this exam. For candidates other than Maharashtra state, they can apply through their CMAT or CAT scores.
- Cutoff: The MAHCET cutoff is expected to be 99.99 percentile for CMAT/ CAT and 99.29 – 99.94 for state level seat.

These grants are given to bright students who face financial difficulties during their studies. The scholarship provides two deserving students with a core grant of Rs. 100,000 each towards their education fees. JBIMS Campus & Facilities
The campus area of JBIMS is not that big. It is a single red bricked building. The campus has a decent sized auditorium, classrooms, library, canteen and space for leisure activities and committee rooms. The classrooms is equipped with all the latest techology and is air-conditioned. The library of JBIMS is one of the best with a collection of around 4000 books and 1000 journals.
JBIMS Hostel
JBIMS doesn’t have any hostel of its own. Only top 25 students are provided accommodation on the merit basis in the Mumbai University hostel situated at Marine drive. Also these facilities are only for boys and girls have to find their own accomodation.
Life at JBIMS
Life at JBIMS is hectic and pushes the students beyond their limits. The days at JBIMS are not tied down with a fixed timetable. The students receive the schedule for each day the night before. The days at JBIMS usually include guest lectures, company presentations, post-class discussions, and club activities.
