IIT Madras MBA is one of the top MBA college in India. IIT Madras is ranked among the top Indian B-Schools and has been ranked 16th by NIRF 2024 and 17th rank for IIRF 2024 for MBA / PGDM. The MBA course offered to students at IIT Madras is a full-time residential flagship program of 2 year duration. Besides the MBA program, the department has research programs at the Master’s (MS) and Doctoral (PhD) levels, an Executive MBA program for the middle and senior level executives. The department is also a partner in the multi-institutional Diploma program (PGPEX – VLM) for Visionary Leaders in Manufacturing, along with IIM Calcutta and IIT Kanpur.
DoMS IIT Madras admission is based on the CAT / GMAT score. Final shortlisting is done on the basis of CAT score, Personal Interview, Past Academic Performance, Work Experience, Gender and Academic Diversity. For admission to PhD course, candidates may be required to take the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) / GATE / NET / CAT followed by PI. Selection to the PGPEX program is based on Aptitude Test and PI.
